Welcome to Ardencraig Lodges

Ardencraig Holiday Lodges are located on the Isle of Bute, Scotland's most accessible island, some 40 miles from Glasgow in the Clyde Estuary. Bute is famous for its wonderful scenery and wild life, Mountstuart House, the home of the Marquis of Bute, Rothesay Castle and the Kyles of Bute. Bute's principal town, Rothesay, is one of Scotland's oldest Royal Burghs. It also gives its name to the eldest son of the sovereign, who is Duke of Rothesay and is known by that title when in Scotland.

Ardencraig Holiday Lodges are set within the wooded grounds of Ardencraig House, a listed late Regency villa built in the Palladian style approximately two miles from Rothesay and a few minutes walk from the shore at Craigmore.

Bute is reached by regular ferry services from Wemyss Bay with a 35 minute journey or from Colintraive in Argyle with a 5 minute crossing. Both services are provided by Caledonian-MacBrayne.
